First DT post for Through The Purple Haze Blog

Helllooooo Friends,

I'm enjoying my holidays back at home.. For guys who does not follow me on facebook, I took 1 month off, to travel to India, to friends and family.. Well, I'm coming back soon and will get back to crafting in no time..

But today I have something really exciting to share with you guys..
Ohhh Yes, as the post suggests I have been chosen as a new Design Team member at Through The Purple Haze Challenges.. Wow, I feel good after sharing this with you guys. I have been holding this news for almost a month, waiting for their Challenge to go live,,, Phew, that was a tough job.. lol...!!

So without taking much of your time, I wanna share the details of the Challenge and then my sweet sweet sweet card..
In this Current Challenge of ours - 101 Anything Goes we have a sponsor - Morgan's Artworld

They have a very beautiful collection of digis (digital stamps).. Check their shop, blog and facebook page for the wonderful collection..

Now for my card, I used one of their Images named Fae 9
I will be honest, I enjoyed every bit of it, while working with this image.. I haven't used digis before in my card and it was kind of tough to figure out what size of the image I needed for my card.. But once I figured it out, it was am-maaz-zingggg..  Ohh, I loved coloring those small flowers and intricate designs..
Now I think I'm in love with digis and will try to use them more often on my cards because of their flexibility to resize and what not..(have to explore more)

Also I wanna apologize for not having a video for this card, as on the time I created this card, I was little busy packing up for my trip and I could not film the whole video properly and redoing the video was not an option for me.. But I sure will make a video in future on how to use digis in different ways after I explore more about them..

So here is my beautiful card,, hold your breath guys..

Isn't it amazing.. ? Oh you can take a breath nowww.. Lol..!!

To color the image here I used copic marker (my fav) in shades of pink, purple, green and flesh tones.. And I have this sentiment I used - "The butterfly counts not months but Moments and has enough time - by Rabindranath Tagore" from one of the Just Rite stamps from my stash, which matched perfectly with my image..

Here is another view of the card -

And a close up -

So tell me what do you think of this card and the image.??
I hope you guys liked it...
Leave me loads of love here and also on TTPH Blog.. Will be waiting guys..

Happy Crafting...!!

Fall Theme Coasters - Simon Says Stamp Fractile Leaves

Hello Crafty friends,

Today I'm here sharing a fun fall theme coaster tutorial.. I love creating coasters this time of the year, these make perfect gifts, that people can use all round the year and remember you every time they use it..

I thought of creating a fall theme coaster, as I love all the fall colors and I just make everything colorful. And for this I chose to use the Simon Says Stamp Fractile Leaves.
Well, you can pretty much use any stamp and create any theme coasters, just pick up a stamp set you have and stamp it using Archival Black Ink from Rangers, and you are good to go..

I chose to just stamp and color one corner of the coasters, I like to keep it simple, and also like the natural coaster color to show..

I use PrismaColor Pencils to color the leaves here.. All shades of green, yellow, red and orange..
The colors I used are as follows -  Green - PC 911, PC 912, PC 913 Yellow- PC 1003, PC 1034, PC 916 Oranges - PC 918, PC 921 Red - PC 922, PC 924

Now watch the tu…
