Beach Scene Card using Pattern Papers | Paper Piecing | MFT & Lawn Fawn

Hello Friends,

Today I'm here to share a BEACH SCENE created on a card.. Its a very fun card to make. It looks just great.. And MFT has make these card building very fun and easy using MFT Beach Scene Builder Die-namics. I just love this die set and its fascinating how you get all the small pieces to create a full fledged scene..

I used pattern papers from MFT paper pad to create the background and Lawn Fawn paper pad to PAPER PIECE my girl image, on this card.

To paper piece an image, you need to stamp the image on pattern papers and also on white cardstock. Then you will have to fussy cut the parts of image from pattern papers, the parts which you want to add pattern papers too. And the rest of the part, you will have to color it, on the white cardstock. I used copic markers to color the girl image - E01, E11, E13, E18
After coloring, stick those cut out pattern papers pieces using liquid glue. Remember to use black marker on the edges of the fussy cut image to give it a clean look.

Now for the background I used blue and yellow watercolor pattern paper from MFT. I used blue for water and yellow for sand. For sand I die cut it using Beach Scene Builder Die-namics, along with other elements like tree, cloud etc using white cardstock.
Then I inked up all these elements using distress inks and then stick them all together to create a beautiful scene.

When I reached this point, I was almost done, but the scene looked a little incomplete and so stamped few more images from Mermaid and Seagulls Stamp set from MFT and colored them using copic markers . C2, C3, C5, Y02, Y18, YG93, YG97 and YG99 copic markers.
Then I fussy cut these images and sticked them on to my scene to complete it. For sentiment, I stamped "Hey, Sunshine" from Pure Innocence Beach Day stamp set from MFT.
To finish of I sticked this panel onto a white side folding A2 size card base.

I have a full tutorial of this card on my YouTube Channel.

I also made a similar card, but didn't use any pattern paper for it..

Fall Theme Coasters - Simon Says Stamp Fractile Leaves

Hello Crafty friends,

Today I'm here sharing a fun fall theme coaster tutorial.. I love creating coasters this time of the year, these make perfect gifts, that people can use all round the year and remember you every time they use it..

I thought of creating a fall theme coaster, as I love all the fall colors and I just make everything colorful. And for this I chose to use the Simon Says Stamp Fractile Leaves.
Well, you can pretty much use any stamp and create any theme coasters, just pick up a stamp set you have and stamp it using Archival Black Ink from Rangers, and you are good to go..

I chose to just stamp and color one corner of the coasters, I like to keep it simple, and also like the natural coaster color to show..

I use PrismaColor Pencils to color the leaves here.. All shades of green, yellow, red and orange..
The colors I used are as follows -  Green - PC 911, PC 912, PC 913 Yellow- PC 1003, PC 1034, PC 916 Oranges - PC 918, PC 921 Red - PC 922, PC 924

Now watch the tu…
