Polymer Clay Skinner Blend Technique

Hello Crafty Friends

I'm back with a fun Polymer Clay Technique called The Skinner Blend.. Its a coolest polymer ckay technique. In this you can blend polymer clay in beautiful blend that shifts from one color to another. And you can do this with 2 colors and more than two. Today I will show how to made graduated blends using 2 different colors, black and white.

There are different ways to make skinner blend and I'm gonna use the simple method that gives smoother results, that is to use pasta machine for skinner blend.

You will see biggest effect if you use 2 colors with contrast in them. If you use colors that are close to each other, you may not see the shift as clearly, but it will be there.. You always get pretty blends while using skinner blend technique.

Start with 2 sheets of clay, cut them in equal size rectangle and them cut them diagonally to make triangles.. Then put them together to make rectangle with white on one side of the rectangle and black on the other side…

It was great and I enjoyed every bit of it..
As it was tropical theme I thought of making it beach theme with sea, beach, coconut trees etc.. And guess what I had perfect stamps for it..

So this is the whole envelope.. Its an open envelope. It carries 2 A2 size card, 2 tags, 4 pinwheel decoartives, 6 paper clips and I also sent my partner gifts - a pair of earring, a neckpiece and few beach theme stickers...

Above you can see the picture of envelope, cards and tags..

This is the envelope that I made from scratch.. I didn't really measure the envelope. I made it in such a way that it carries all the cards and tags and gifts. It has 2 pockets..  Well at first I thought I will use pattern papers to decorate this envelope. But then I thought, lets get creative.. I mean I had all these Stamps and dies from …

Polymer Clay Embroidery Technique

Hello Friends

Today I'm here with a fun technique that results in some very beautiful and intricate designs.

Aren't they gorgeous..? And trust me they are not at all tough to make. They are very easy to make and looks like you have done a lot of work and effort on it.

I started with a heart shaped bezel and used Ruby pardo clay for creating this pendant. I started with creating a dome shaped base on the bezel and then I created this roses using my needle tool from a sheet of same Ruby clay..

I made a bunch of roses and filled almost three fourth of the bezel and to finish off I added some dot details on the rest of the area.

Now for the next pendant, I used an Owl shaped bezel pendant. I started with orange premo clay on the base as a dome shape.  Then I created this petal shape from different color clay and added design with needle tool to finish off the flowers.
