Hello crafty friends
Today I’m sharing how I created this fun one layer card using products from our new August release – “Nuts About You”
This release went live on August 15th and you have until August 22nd for a chance to win this whole release, if you just hop along with us. Check out the hop post here..
Now here is the card I’m sharing with you today..
Isn’t it beautiful ? Here is a close up..
I’m so happy with how this card turned out. It was definitely very quick to make and can be easily recreated in bulk if you want to..
I used two Digital stamps set from the new release for the images here.. I used Pumpkin Carving Digital Stamp set for all the Pumpkin Images and Pumpkin Patch Digital Stamp set for the Wheelbarrow Image. I edited the images on the Pages app on my mac and once I was happy with the image I printed it out on a copic friendly cardstock using my HP InkJet Printer.
I then created the floor for the wheelbarrow and pumpkins by masking the area with Post It Tape and then used Tea Dye Distress Ink and blending brush to create the ground.
Then I colored the images using Copic Markers. Below is the list of markers I used :
Pumpkin – E08 YR18 YR04 YR02, YG17 YG01
Wheelbarrow – R89 R39 R27, C10 C9, C5 C3 C2
Shadow on the Ground – E35
Once done coloring I added the Many Thanks sentiment from the same Pumpkin Patch Stamp set towards the top left of the card front. I used a green plaid pattern paper from my stash, that I cut to 4.25″ by 5.25″, to layer with my card front for some interest.
Since my card front was 3.75″ by 4.75″, the pattern paper added a beautiful plaid background around the card front. And then I added this to a white notecard. Lastly I finished the card with some Gilded Pearls for added interest and shine. These pearl mixes are just gorgeous and adds a beautifully metallic shine to your projects.
