FLYING BY….To Show you a Shaker Card!

It is Heather (QteeCardDesigns) here on the Crescent Creation’s Blog sharing a unique shaker card using the “Flying By” digital stamp and the “Stinking Cute” digital stamp set using the “Happy Valentine’s Day” sentiment! For the shaker bits I used the new adorable “Bearly Awesome” Claybits and the “Rosa Jewel” Mix!

I created this shaker card by first printing out the hot air ballon and carefully cutting out inbetween the balloon’s lines. Then I attached a piece of acetate to the back of the ballon. I “molded” the piece to make sure the middle if the ballon was not flat. Then I placed the Bearly Awesome Claybits directly on the slimline card, making sure all of them are inside the ballon. I then placed glue carefully behind the lines (wipe of excess to ensure no glue gets on the acetate) and place the ballon directly onto the slimline card. Now at this point you will have to hold each individual area to ensure the acetate sticks to the paper and that there are no openings. Even though I spent some time going back over areas, it was worth it! The clay bits and jewel mix are small enough to move freely about!

Earlier stated I “molded” the acetate, however, it naturally created a dome once all of the sides were securely glued down! After that, I just finished up coloring the card and adding the “Happy Valentine’s Day” sentiment from the Stinking Cute set! I mounted the slimline base onto the cardbase that I made out of the “High Gloss Black Cardstock”, which gave it an extra twinkle!
